Detroit Ambassador
Usually ambassadors are those who travel a great distance to display the merits of their location of origin. However, in being a Detroit ambassador, I have found my harshest critics tend to be those that live in and around the metro-Detroit area. Trying to change the perception of Detroit in the eyes of the suburbanite has proven to be a laborious process; however, it is one I do with great pleasure. I, like others before me, find the forced drag into the city with the promise of food and drink to work quite well.
