GO VOTE

Today is Detroit’s primary for the Mayor and City Council elections. Voters need to narrow the Mayoral Race to two candidates from 12, 18 city council candidates from 120 possible and 20 school board candidates from 50. There is no good excuse for a Detroit resident to not vote.

Polls opened at 7am and will remain open until 8pm.

It will be interesting to see which candidates are still standing this evening, particularly the current mayor, Kwame…

(I don’t become an official resident of Detroit for another two weeks, so I can’t vote in the primaries. Looking forward to voting in the November election.)
