Pay it forward: Detroit

The following is an email exchange I had with a fellow student at Wayne State. It got me thinking about that movie “Pay it Forward.” Apart from it being a little hard to believe, it had a great message.     Advice we could all use. Nice catch on the social moray (sp?) of holding the door open for the person behind you. “I wanna be polite, but I really couldn’t care less if this door hits ya, so I’m just gonna kinda brush it with the back of my hand as I go through! I’ll apply a little PRESSURE!…but not TOO MUCH. No, no, not too much. That’s about all the politeness I can muster. Hey, ‘Welcome to the area.'” ~BR
