Dream Cruise

It’s Woodward Dream Cruise week. A week you either love, hate or ignore. Technically, the Dream Cruise is only on Saturday,August 20th but you’ll find the Dream Cruisers cruising Woodward all week long.

If you like cars, probably an event right up your alley.

I just wish the cruisers would respect the people who work and live in the area. I am tired of hearing it is only one day, NOT, they have been cruising every weekend since April, packed parking lots every night and clogged the streets.

Sorry I don’t own a great car I just need to get home from work and I need to do my errands.

As a person who does live and work in the area, I love the dream cruise. Screw your stupid errands, let the people have their fun. Maybe if you could cut loose you’d enjoy it too.

Make sure you check out the Ford Cruisin’ Legends events this weekend in Birmingham. Friday night is the charity party, with the Beach Boys and Teen Angels performing. And there will be tons of classics and exhibits. Chip Foose will reveal his new 2006 Foose Mustang — very cool! Call 248.827.3015 for tickets, which are $175 and include a great dinner, drinks and more. Proceeds go to JDRF. And Saturday there will be lots more entertainment and activities for all ages.
