Back to School

I love being on campus in the fall watching the groups of bright eyed incoming freshmen with limitless hopes and dreams. I also love the looks of utter surprise from suburbanites who discover that Detroit is not the burnt out hole they thought it would be. The only thing I am not going to look forward to is parking rage. I love having my pick of the lot and not having to wait in an enormous line to get to it. The only thing worse would be if they announced yet again that they were raising prices.

I’m with you, I love seeing those freshmen moving in. So much excitement. I get a little choked up when they’re saying goodbye to the parents, though. I don’t even have children and I’m already dreading that day :)
