Metro Detroit Big Boy Restaurants Help Katrina Victims
I know that MGAL has posted a few ways to help victims of hurricane Katrina – the NOLA t-shirts and the other donation sites – but I wanted to add another way that Detroiters can help the hurricane victims:
This weekend, all metro Detroit-area Big Boy restaurants are accepting non-perishable canned goods, which will be donated to hurricane Katrina victims. This is a great way to supplement any donation you have already made, or an alternative method to help if you don’t have any extra money to donate.
Whether you take one can or twenty, remember – every little bit helps.
All goods and donations collected will be given to the Red Cross for the hurricane victims.
