Belle Isle on Map Detroit

Map Detroit recently added Belle Isle to its ultra-cool mapping system of Detroit.

If you’ve never used Map Detroit before, it’s a geospatial multimedia mapping system that is an efficient and fun way to explore the city. Its zoom options and tool tips are two of Map Detroit’s strongest features, and its clean interface helps navigate the sometimes-confusing spoke-like streets of downtown Detroit.

The categories feature is also a bonus, allowing users to search and pinpoint exactly where area restaurants, banks, buildings, entertainment venues, hotels, residences, parking spaces, public transit and parks are located by shading them red on the user’s command.

MD is also working on its Events tab, which is a calendar feature that allows users to search for specific sporting and holiday events, live entertainment and festivals by date and location.

We at Technology Productions Inc are working hard.

We should have a new interface coming in the near future along with historical info and photos.
