Tim Horton’s coffee
I hate waking up in the morning. The little processor in my head takes a little while to boot. Since I was in highschool, my friends have learned to create a little cacoon of sensory deprivation when I wake up to keep me from killing someone.
But there is a solution: coffee. The nectar of the gods. The sweet warm sweat of nirvana. Coffee’s smell and warmth are a little hug with a buzz that reassure me that everything will be alright. There are a lot of good shops and holes in the wall in which one can get one’s fix, but if you are just driving around and you see a “TIm Hortons,” you will end up with a good cup of joe. It is a chain that crawls through Canadia, michigan and I think even Ohio; but even though they are a chain, they actually have a good brew, unlike McDonalds or any of he other chains.
Here’s to you Tim Horton, I lift my leaky cardboard cup in gratitude!
Good call. I can’t start my morning without coffee from Tim Hortons.
It makes me happy that Tim Horton’s – which will always be synonomous with Canada regardless of ownership – is spreading its love across the US. According to the website there are now locations in Michigan, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. We need one in Detroit proper however. They are actively looking to franchise anywhere in the States.
From what I hear Tim Hortons coffee is the best out there. My step mom is from Canada and that is all she drinks in the morning. She’s now got my dad and brothers hooked on it as well. So if anyone gets a chance to have some, do it. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
