Warehouse Fire

Wesson Warehouse Fire

For those of you that saw the massive smoke clouds pouring up from the Southwest Detroit area, here are a few shots I took of it all.

Aside from the Piquette Market fire, this was the largest I’ve been to. These pictures don’t do it justice — this was HUGE. The smoke cloud was so big that, for the first time since I bought it, my 18mm lens was not wide-angle enough to get the smoke piling in to the sky.

While I have no doubt that this was an insurance gig, investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

Bobby, I can always depend upon you to give us the whole story. While driving back from Royal Oak last night I saw the plumes of smoke, and wondering building was in flames.
