Ode to coffee

Cafe de Troit is closing it doors this Friday around 4pm. You better rush on over to get your last cup of Motor City Blend or finally purchase one of the snazzy travel mugs.

The owners are moving overseas so fingers crossed they sell the business and it reopens somewhere in the city. Until then the Sunday morning coffee clutch needs a new home. We are like little lost puppies right now – no clue what to do on Sunday…

It is not the lack of coffee we are fretting. It is the lack of a gathering spot. The coffee clutch can be a big group that comes and goes throughout the morning and chats, gossips, argues and so forth.

Well at least it’ll be closed in time before I have to pay back that bet I lost to you…

The coffee looks expensive in those places…

Coney Island coffee is only like 75 cents…
