Detroit FBI headquarters

How about Tiger Stadium for the possible location of the Detroit FBI headquarters?

(Then again, I guess I don’t take these stories too seriously. Do any of these ideas actually get beyond the rumor phase?)

    I liked the idea of a major league soccer team. But Detroit wouldn’t pull in enough attendees – we already have four pro teams, a fifth would be complete overkill.

    A soccer team would be great, its close to Mexicantown…and not to generalize or anything, but all of the Mexicans I have ever met are crazy about soccer. Bottom line, any legal use is better than leaving it vacant.
    What ever happened to the plan to convert it to condos/parks? Not enough funding or motivation on behalf of the city to do it I suppose.

    I heard that it was going to be the home for a new minor league team we are getting from Penn.
    Who knows with these things…nothing is ever set in stone.

    They said on the news that the Tiger Stadium site was too samll for what the FBI ahs planned. It begs the question, just what in the hell does the FBI have planned that they need that much land?
