Funeral Arrangements for Rosa Parks
I am only including the Detroit details as the DC ones don’t seem solid yet.
From Monday night till Wednesday morning, she will lie in state at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11am at Greater Grace Temple Church.
She will be buried next to her husband, mother and brother in Woodlawn Cemetary.
The front seat of Detroit buses have been draped with black ribbons in remembrance of Rosa Parks.
