Mostly to make Mollika smile
Back in March, I convinced Mollika to go on a great and relatively cheap adventure to San Francisco. (How it was cheap is discussed over on my blog – look in March’s archives) Yes, the rumors are true, I made the poor girl walk all over the city but she saw and experienced things she and I will never forget.
Anyway, I had heard rumors of an ad filmed in San Francisco featuring thousands of bouncy balls. I had even seen photos on flickr, but I had no clue what the ad was about. Now, I know and oh, do I love the ad. It is for Sony BRAVIA, a new LCD screen. But whatever..the ad features great shots of San Francisco and thousands of bouncy balls bouncing down the hills.
Did you know we met Joann of SF Metblogs while we were there too? She is a really nice lady.
What does this have to do with Detroit? Nothing really – other than it is midterm season for all the college students and they need a good laugh/smile. It made me forget all about my accounting midterm the other night. Now I am trying to think of a cool place in Detroit to drop a bunch of bouncy balls and see where they go..
Melissa, that is the coolest thing ever. Thank you. Those balls are having a much easier time than I, uphill for them is not a requirement :0) I wonder if any of the Irish blokes were hit . . .
