November 18th will be an extra special day to visit Campus Martius Park. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place (I heard it’s a 50 foot tree this year) as well as the opening of the ice skating rink.

Today was a pretty nice day for the construction crew to put together the structure for the skate rental hut. High winds in the previous days made the work much tougher (and perhaps dangerous!)

For klutzes like me, do they have such a thing as “training-wheels” for skates?
