I am not happy

It is looking like Kwame was re-elected. That makes me very disappointed but it also maintains my losing streak in never voting for the winning candidate.

On the flip side, Jackie Currie is out. And four new faces will join city council. Who knows maybe with this revamped city council Kwame won’t be so bad…

It’s odd how Jackie Currie was involved in 1 or 2 scandals and loses an election, yet Kilpatrick is involved in countless scandals and still wins.

I have never voted for the winning candidate either, but that just means we both have the sense to deny conventional wisdom.

I just figure if you want to know who will lose an election, just ask me who I voted for. I have never elected a president, mayor, representative or senator. Always opt for the eventual loser.

You know I also getting very tired of being completely disappointed and disillusioned on the morning after an election. Somedays you just wonder what the point of voting is when you are always voting for the loser. But at least I can say without lying I didn’t vote for the idiots who keep getting us into deeper and deeper holes.
