Midtown now on Map Detroit

As my second favorite spot in the D (aside from the riverfront), Midtown is a happenin’ place chock-full of art, entertainment, intellect and culture. I am surprised, though, at the number of people I know that live or work in the CBD, yet have never ventured up Woodward Ave. to take a peak at this little gem. You simply must check it out.

And, lucky for you, you’ll have some help navigating your way around WSU, the various museums, and the hundreds of other things to see and do in this hip neighborhood, because those smart and savvy people over at MapDetroit just announced that Midtown is now part of the award-winning MapDetroit web application program.

So, check it out. I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

Yay! I love that map-database… I don’t go anywhere without spitting out a map on how to get there (useful for street navigation and remembering where I parked!)

I was worse… I used to carry a GPS unit with me, and “stamp-in” different locations so I knew I was driving in the right direction.

Heck – I’ma New Yorker… driving is relatively new to me!
