Your life is beautiful
I found this written in the first stall of the men’s bathroom, on the second floor of the engineering main building on WSU’s campus. It was definately one of those “beauty in strange places” moments for me, so I went back to my office, grabbed my camera and snapped a pic.
In the midst of all of the other BS around us the message stood out from the clatter. Remember this this holiday season.
I should have called Tiki to get a better pic…but I thought it would be wierd for me to ask ANYONE to meet me in the boys room – no matter the explanation. ;)
I think the picture is great and the message as well. Thank you.
Nah, you should have asked MaineGal to take the photo… Heh Heh Heh
What I want to know is, what kind of month are you having that a snippet of graffiti on a bathroom wall can be inspiring?
Very poignant message!
Boy Jeppi…you should be a counselor, it HAS been a hell of a month. Holiday’s are rough sometimes when you associate them with the death of a family member yada yada…then there’s the stresses we all face day in and day out. But I think all of us benefit from remembering “what really matters”, even if we are having a smooth sailing month.
And BTW, bathroom wall graffiti is a LOT more likely to inspire me because my gaurd (and my pants) are down. Conversely, I am pretty immune to Hallmark commercials and greeting cards, because they are SUPPOSED to be inspiring…maybe I am just a contrarian, but I am not moved by anything that is mass produced – except coffee, and Marlboros. :)
