Yesterday, I finally secured my dream Nativity Scene… a Playmobil one! Playmobils were and still are my all time favorite toy. I can’t say it was a Maine thing as my friends didn’t have them. It was a Dad thing – he got hooked on them and then he hooked my brothers and I on them and it will be an endless cycle. (Poor Mom) The cool thing is now you can find Playmobils in regular stores like Target and Walmart, so maybe more kids will play with them. I love happening across a child looking at them with wonder. You can do so much with a small set of Playmobils – and they mix and match pretty well.
So in the spirit of Christmas and the memory of lists to Santa, what was your favorite toy? Can you still find it? Was it a local thing?

Playmobil toys ROCK!!! Still have a ton at the house. If you are nice I may show them to you once I sort out the stuff.
This isn’t going to turn into an “I’ll show you mine, if you show me yours” is it? My brothers and I have yet to divide our acquired mass of Playmobils (has to be over a thousand people,horses and various other items)…
