Hmmm that’s make an EXCELLENT place for a PETANQUE CAFE…

I’m going to tell Joe Zajac (Prez of Michigan Petanque Club) ASAP… he has some Money-Backers who can probably DO THE PURCHASE!

Yea, but it has to still have featherbowling.. As much as I may like petanque, featherbowling is what makes Cadieux Cafe so cool.

OK… then we can still do the featherbowling AND put in 4 Petanque pistes. Is it large enough inside for 4 Pistes… or is there (parking lot space) to expand the building?

It is a Beligian sport. The court is dirt, has edges higher than it’s center. A feather is stuck in a hold at one end of the court, you roll a thick wooden (semi-flat) ball (like a wooden fat tire) down the court to get as close to the feather as possible.

Sounds a little like Petanque – Yes?

I guess kind of, but what if you hit the feather, and can you play of the side of the lane? it does seem interesting

I’ve gone there a few times to watch, but never have had a lane open for play when I was there. With the surprising demand for feather bowling, I can’t see the building being used for something else. A dual-purpose feather bowling & petanque facility would be great, but may require expansion of the building.

Mark: Expanding the building to encompass BOTH Feather-Bowling AND Petanque is exactly what Joe, our money-backers, and I plan on. We’re going to meet up with them on monday.
