80’s Flashback
80’s cover bands are usually cringe inducing as they bring back memories of bad hair and weird music. Usually complete kitsch. Usually.. unless you are talking about local cover band Mega 80’s. I saw a show of theirs recently and it was a riot. So much fun between their outfits, ability to nail a song, the 80s graphics on the screens or just their energy. They don’t come off as campy or a sideshow. You can enjoy yourself without embarrasment as you dance and sing along.
They do seem to have a regular gig at The Magic Bag. A must-see…and enjoy.
