I need a new car — any ideas?

The lease is up on my little Grand Am at the end of the month, so I need a new car soon. I’m considering a Trailblazer or maybe a Liberty, mostly because the incentives are crazy right now and I can get my hands on an employee discount (who can’t around here?). Anyway, I’m looking to lease again just for a couple years and I’d like to keep my payments relatively low. Any suggestions, people? Any cars I should avoid?

According to the 2004 Michigan Automobile Theft Prevention Authority report, I should avoid purchasing a white 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix and, if I do, keep a close eye on it on Mondays in July. (Go here for more auto theft data.)

pending on where you live, i would avoid getting a Chrysler… they are the most stolen car in Detroit proper…

Stacy, according to the WSU safety reports it seems that mostly American cars seem to be stolen from the campus.

Buy a retired police car. It’ll be less likely to be stolen!

Hit up Eric Critser at Al Deeby Dodge in Hamtown for all your DCX leasing needs. My new Dakota lease payment is LESS than my insurance cost per month.
