Pistons: something special

i just wanna take this time to gush about the Pistons… i can’t imagine a more complete team that i’ve seen in a long time… in all of sports, this team is the most complete i’ve seen… i hope fans in Detroit realize how special this team is… when i was a kid back during the Bad Boys era, i knew it was special, but i was just a kid and didn’t really value it… now that i’m older, i totally value these Pistons… not every town gets to have a team like this… let’s talk about some things:

Rasheed Wallace… scored 18 points, 14 in the 3rd which was all but 2 of the points the Pistons scored in that quarter… that dude is ridiculous!!! seeing him play like he did yesterday made me wish that he’d just do that every night… but from what i can see, ‘Sheed is an emotional player… you’ve gotta get him in the right mood and then he’ll just take over… ‘Sheed is known for being an all-around player, but last night he showed off his offense, something i hope to see more of…

Carlos Delfino… when i see this guy, i think of a totem pole, but i really like what he brings to the table… he’s athletic and can create and can play some defense… he chipped in for 11 points a block and a steal and i think it’s just the beginning for this guy… the more he plays, the better he’s gonna get… by the end of the season, he’s gonna be one of the guys we really depend on to get us going…

Rip Hamilton… scored 18 points, but what really stuck out is that he shut down his opponent Ricky Davis… Davis averages 20 pts a game but with Hamilton guarding him most of the game, Davis didn’t score at all… that’s kinda crazy…

Tayshaun… lit it up in the 4th and pretty much sealed the game for us… while he’s known mostly for his defense, he’s growing more and more as an offensive threat…

Chauncey… known as Mr. Big Shot, but as of late has been Mr. Big Assist… he dropped 16 dimes yesterday… when you can create 32 points in addition to the baskets you’re making, that’s a big deal…

Ben… did his thing… 14 boards, 3 blocks and 3 steals… and numerous intangibles… it’s easy to forget how valuable he is to this team… but without him, we’d be hurtin’…
