Could it be true?

Rumors about the possibility of a “Real World – Detroit” have been floating for months now. Originally the story was the housemates would be working Super Bowl, but with that just weeks away, that doesn’t look possible and so things started to die off.

But yesterday, the rumor went red-hot again with a flurry of postings on Craigslist-Detroit for a variety of reality-show related production jobs. Here’s what the Production Assistant posts said:

A major New York production company has full-time openings for experienced Production Assistants for a reality series to be shot for a major cable network. Taping will be done on-location in the Detroit area April through June. Responsible for handling logistics issues including tape traffic.

The other post are written with same lead line and taping location. So what could Real World-ers be working on in the Detroit area that happens during June???

(Yes, HotFudge boys, you were my tipsters.)

FWIW: while blogsurfing recently I ran across this entry:

“I’M GOING TO BE ON REAL WORLD!!!! in detroit. yay. go me.”

Unfortunately the blog is ‘friends only’ now. I wonder if that post would be enough to get her kicked off the show. Anyway she’s a Californian musical theatre person, graduate of an L.A. music academy (Hamilton), and self-described activist (“BIG environmental/animal/womens/gay-RIGHTS ACTIVIST”).
