35-5

The Pistons have matched the start of the 1984 Detroit Tigers at 35-5! As we all know, the Tigers went on to win the World Series over the San Diego Padres that year. The only question that remains is will the Pistons finish their season as successfully as the Tigers? Does anybody want to go out on a limb and predict 70 wins for the Pistons this year?

welcome scott!!! i was gonna write about this this morning, but you beat me to it!!!

it would be absolutely ridiculous if we didn’t win it all this year, but i bet they were thinking that in phoenix last year too… still, we’re a much better team than phx… i’ll guarantee that we’ll win the championship, but i won’t guarantee we win 70…

Thanks for the welcome Baliad! I agree with you that the Pistons should win the title this year.

I do not think they’ll win 70, not becasue they’re incapable, but becasue I feel Flip may rest some of the starters as the playoffs draw closer. I don’t think they should focus on reaching 70. They’re more interested in the big prize at the end!!

Who knows how many they’ll win if they go out and play the way they’ve been playing all year. It might work out that they’ll reach the 70 mark after all.
