Superbowl Experience

wow… just got home from the Superbowl…

had the opportunity to volunteer for the event… the day started at 8:00 a.m. and i didn’t get home ‘til 11:30… 85% of that time was spent on my feet!!! i ended up being an usher at one of the gates at Ford Field… it was the gate that led to the media compound, to the North Suites and also to the 50 yard line… got familiar with the folks at NFL Films, ESPN and ABC… saw a few celebs: boxer Evander Holyfield, local radio personality Terry Foster, former Lion Robert Porcher, Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee, Sport Commentator Dick Stockton and i even got to gab very briefly with actress Jessica Alba…there were definitely more Steelers fans, but from where i was, the Seahawks fans were louder… lots of people “mentioned” the cold weather and such the like, but overall, i could see that people were having a good time… all in all it was a great experience… tiring, but great… got paid almost $8/hr, had lunch and dinner paid for, got a free SBXL shirt, free SBXL hat, free SBXL ear warmer, and i even got to take in some of the game at the 50 yard line… that’s tough to beat!!!

it may be another 20 years ‘til Southeastern Michigan gets another Superbowl, so i’m glad i got to be a part of something special…

for a more detailed telling of my day… go here

Wow, you got to chat with Jessica? Lucky you! :)
So, this is a stupid question…since we know she
looks fabulous…but was she dressed rather low key?
I don’t think ABC ever showed her in the crowd.

A shame since I did see her on the Jimmy Kimmel show
    Friday Night.

she wore jeans and a sweater… definitely low key, i didn’t think it was her at first… she tried to get to Jimmy Kimmel’s show after SBXL as well…

I’m so jealous you got to meet Jessica Alba as well. Is she as stunning in person?
