More Twingo Raving
The food is incredible. I grew up on the coast of Maine and even I have never had better tasting scallops in my life. My boyfriend had the bolognese and commented “I have to eat the entire thing. It is too good.” So good that despite the late hour and the fact we had already had an appetizer (chicken confit) and our meals, we still made room for desert, which was a dark chocolate pudding/strawberry/ice cream/pomegranate wonder.
We are already planning our return trip to try more items on the menu. Plus Twingo’s is now open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner (It’s what the receipt said, though I had heard Sunday was going to brunch only).
Need a romantic Valentine’s dinner spot – call Twingo’s.
Between my old stand by- Cass Cafe, new loves – Slows and Twingo’s and the newly reopened Sala Thai in Lafayatte Park, I don’t know if I will ever cook dinner again.
You’re making me hungry, and that desert sounds heavenly. I’ve also heard good things about lunch. Has anyone had breakfast there yet?
Saw yesterday that Sala Thai was reopened but didn’t go inside.. are the prices the same as before or are things more like the Eastern Market Sala Thai?
