Library Issues

I think I am finally getting over my shock of having to pay to sign out videos and DVDs at the Detroit Public Library. BIBLIOIDIOTECQUE, a reader of the site made some very good points about the existence of these fees. I will do my part to make use of the libraries and “hound” legislators for increased funding, but in the meantime I have found that the Undergraduate Library at Wayne State University has a great collection of films, while not as current, that will hold me over. The Detroit Public Library does have the latest DVDs and their usage fees are still more competitive than rental fees at Blockbuster, so if you are planning on renting movies I would suggest trying the DPL first.
