The next game is a MUST win for Detroit. There is no way they'll come back if they go down 3-1 to a team like Edmonton!! It's great to see the Tigers winning games against good teams.

The Wings first round series always seems to be the most nerve racking. I actually am quite worried due to the fact that both of Multby's goals in game one were a bit lucky. However, I felt that the reason we have had trouble the past couple playoffs had been due to D. Lewis's inability to shake things up in the playoffs when it wasn't going well. That is the main reason we let him go and got Babcock. Now that we are going into Edmonton, lets see if Babcock can figure out a way to beat that trap and lets see if the players can "turn on the switch". The Wings gotta know that loosing in the first round angers their fans, yet with the Pistons looking to steamroll through the East, the fans may quickly forget that this is Hockeytown.

This is the best weekend in recent memory. Just me, my TV, and the Internet during commercials! The Wings fell to the Oilers, but the other two games can cheer me up before the day ends. With baseball just beginning, playoffs for basketball and hockey going on, and the NFL draft next weekend, this is truly the best time of year for sports in Detroit.
