with the scorching Memorial Day weekend behind us, the summer has unofficially started… this will be my first summer living in the D, so i’m looking forward to being closer to all the action… i read a handy article in the Detroit News this morning discussing all the events that will be occurring in the region and i’m pretty excited about several of them… the ones that pique my interest the most are the various festivals that will be taking place in Hart Plaza throughout the summer… since i love to eat, and love to eat ribs, i’m really looking forward to the Ribs ‘n Soul Festival… i’d never even heard of it and after reading the aforementioned article, there are several festivals that i’ve never heard of… with all the festivals scheduled, the Tigers actually winning and the pending summer schedule for Campus Martius, it looks like it’s gonna be a fun and busy summer in the city…
