Weekend watching

The nice part of the weekend was I could watch all the World Cup games I desired. I didn’t however get the results I wanted from those games. Arghhhh..

Saturday, we monitored a few games through the internet/radio and then watched the end of the US/Italy game. The US got lucky that Italy wasn’t playing their best, but even then Italy looked like the better team. Sunday was the crucial France/Korea game, which I watched with my boyfriend and his father (both french citizens). Oh, man – what a disappointment.

First, I will say – France was cheated a goal. Second, if that is the last time we see Zidane play at the international level, bummer. He accumulated two yellow cards so won’t play in the game against Togo.

I think the best part of World Cup is calculating all the options that would enable a team to advance. So how are you liking this World Cup?
