Concert of Colors
Gearing up for the Concert of Colors this coming weekend.
I’ll only be able to attend one of the days, but there’s plenty going on for even that one day! I’ll admit that I’m somewhat sad that it’s not at Chene Park this year, but I think that the switch to the Max M. Fisher is a smart one. Celeste Headley’s recent piece on the DSO and how they are changing the Woodward Avenue community was a testament to the revitalization of the area.
Come on though. What have you go to lose…
1) It’s free
2) Performances ranging from the Indigo Girls to Pun Plamondon Storytelling
3) It’s free
4) It’s in the heart of Detroit
5) The weather should be great and even if it isn’t 2/3 of the stuff is inside.
6) Parking will be easier than at Chene Park.
