Ford has gone back and forth this year with the idea of moving manufacturing operations to Mexico.
The big announcement made today has Ford Motor Company investing nearly $1 Billion in operations in the state of Michigan. This investment would mean that 14,000 jobs would stay in Michigan.
People throughout Michigan have been feeling the tightening of the belts due to the loss of manufacturing and engineering jobs to outsourcing.
This decision could really help in the recovery of Michigan’s economy.
