What “Dreams” are made of….

SHhh, listen. Do you hear that? Its like a faint rumble rolling towards us with the wind. Sniff sniff. Can you smell that? Its a pleasant rubbery gas like aroma drifting over Metro Detroit.

This can mean only one thing! Woodward Dream Cruise!
Dust off the Dusters, Wipe off the Whips its time to hit the pavement hard and fast.
Saturday August 19th is the 12th annual Woodward Dream Cruise.

The Die Hards have already setup shop along the Woodward corridor to watch an American tradition.

I truely cannot wait!

Personally, I never really saw the appeal of the dream cruise. I grew up in the northern suburbs and remember when the Dream Cruise first started – the first few years were actually kind of cool and felt authentic (i.e. the people doing the cruising *actually did* cruise back in the day).

Nowadays, it’s just a giant corportate traffic jam. Good luck going anywhere on the Woodward Corridor for the week before and the cruise itself.
