State Fair time again
The Michigan State Fair kicks off this Wednesday at the State Fair Grounds in Detroit.
Plenty of rides, free concerts, parades, arts & crafts, animal shows and competitions make up this year’s festival, which runs from August 23 through September 4.
Admission to the fair is $9 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. A seasonal pass good for every day of the fair is also available for adults for $25 and for kids ages 3 – 12 for $10. Rides cost extra, but all-day passes are available for those, too.
