The African American Museum Courtesy of Target

On Sunday I was at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History for Target’s Free First Sunday. I admire Target for its innovative support of the museum. Target covers the entrance fee of everyone who attends on the first Sunday of each month. This way more people, especially those with little means, are enticed to come; therefore, Target not only gives but attracts people to this amazing venue. My experience at the museum was deeply moving. The exhibits include life size recreations of scenes that we have all heard of; but, to see them in such a manner is quite hard hitting. I was not the only one in tears. The museum is truly an experience for all, regardless of race. You have no reason not to go.
