If you have yet to see or read any world news today, you probably aren’t aware of what’s been going on in Thailand [1].
Earlier today, the Royal Thai Army staged a coup d’etat [2] against the government of Thailand’s Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Thaksin was attending a United Nations conference in New York [3] at the time.
Metrobloggers in Bangkok [4] have been covering the incident first-hand since it began and have reported that some of the accounts made by worldwide media outlets have been overblown or incorrect.
