Political Doublespeak

The interview tonight with Dick DeVos and Govenor Granholm sounded way too much like kids bickering. Not to say that I don’t support the idea of an open, “no-holds barred” debate, but I get a little fired up in the car just listening to candidates of any kind not really answering the questions and play he-said she-said that’s lie no it’s not.

Why does Dick DeVos have to talk like a preacher man?

Your description sounds much like the 2004 presidential debate :)

I thought DeVos sounded like he was high. Very weird dude.

No matter, she wiped the floor with him. DeVos seems to think he’s running for chairman of the Get Along Gang. She’s a fighter, you’ve gotta give her that.

To me, DeVos sounded like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli…

Granholm really showed that she has a plan and knows the situation at hand. She hit it right on the nose when she said the old ideas of tax cuts and free trade won’t cut it for job creation. Plus, she realizes that his plan to cut $1.9 billion in tax revenue by getting rid of the SBT makes no sense without a way to replace the revenue.
