Stay off the Roads if Need Be
It has been really great partying around town this weekend, but very scary trying to get places. Friday night my friends and I were involved in a hit and run as we were making our way amidst swerving cars on the Lodge. We were very lucky that traffic was relatively slow due to high volume and that none of us were hurt. There are plenty of hotels downtown. Take a cab to one and stay off the roads if you’ve been drinking too much. Thank you to the 13th Precint who were kind enough to expediently file a report. To the driver of the white van who hit us upon accelerating unnecessarily from two lanes over, you might want to think to stop and make sure you didn’t hurt anyone, and thanks for the crumpled car.
