My Tiger, Justin Verlander is starting today, the opening game of the 2006 World Series. About 45,000 people will be going to this game and, if you think about it, that’s alot of hot dogs.
Just how many did you say? Well, how about 80,000. That’s right. 80K of hotdogs every Series game at Comerica Park.
In addition, 15,000 slices of pizza will be consumed. Two tons of hamburger and one and half tons of nacho chips will disappear. Got beer? The fans will guzzle 250 kegs and 600 cases in nine innings. Holy Moly, how can anyone even remember the score much less the count??
