An Apology to Mitch Albom
I must apologize to Mitch Albom and his publicists. Earlier this year I was poking fun at the fact that his Detroit stop on his book tour missed the city by a few miles and ended up in Bloomfield Hills’ Starbucks. What I didn’t know was that he launched his book “For One More Day” here in Detroit at the Fox Theater where he was joined by Tony Bennet and Hank Azaria to raise almost $100,000 for his charity that helps the homeless of Detroit, according to Publishers Weekly.
