Snow and Mayhem

I wanted snow and I got snow. The second any amount of precipitation hits Michigan roads, the driving population freaks out and pile-ups are inevitable. Exhibit A and B are being taken care of right outside my office window on Woodward. BE CAREFUL! The Michigan driving population is apparently the same population that deals with three foot snowfalls every year. Nonetheless, the first few snowfalls of the season inevitably causes pandemonium.

Pandemonium is an understatement for yesterday’s traffic. I had to get from Livonia to Grosse Pointe Park and it took me almost 2 hours. I-75 was a tangled mess and I-94 was even worse. I ended up taking I-96 to the Lodge to Jefferson, which wasn’t a terrible way to go.
