Escaped Convict Apprehended

In following Baliad’s post about an escaping criminal, I thought it would be an interesting story to see what would happen to the criminal in the end.

Well he has been captured according to ClickOnDetroit.COM, less than 24 hours later.

I would like to say that the DPD did a good job of catching him, but at the same time I hope they learn from the situation and have a stronger cop, or multiple cops moving a criminal to the hospital.

Just for a little fun, the distance traveled by the criminal was 5.8 miles, which would take about 9 minutes to reach in an automobile going at regulated speeds. Since I don’t know how when they caught him, I will assume it was 10 PM, which would figure to the convict moving almost .6 miles per hour, assuming he was trying to get away the whole time.

It appears he escaped by following the Lodge Freeway.

Criminals are so stupid. This city has vast swaths of abandoned houses and empty neighborhoods and this guy chooses to run into the most densely populated part of town. What an idiot.
