Shutdown Over
The two week shutdowns that most of the auto companies have during and after Christmas must be over now because yesterday I got stuck in traffic on I-94. It’s amazing how closely tied this region still is to the automotive industry. I can always count on two weeks in June/July and two weeks in December/January when there will be absolutely no traffic because half the people in town aren’t working while the plants get re-tooled.
Also, talking about the auto industry – the auto show is coming up really soon. Anybody going this year?
