Dipps for Turkeys
Ever wanted to go for a dip in January? Well now you can and for a worthy cause. Honest Johns at 488 Seldon is hosting their 16th annual Dipps for Turkeys fest this Sunday afternoon beginning at noon at the bar, The party buses take off at 3 p.m. for the ride to Belle Ile where the “cold, cold Dipp” takes place at 4.
Afterward everyone returns to a huge tent party for dancing, food and live music. All proceeds go toward purchasing turkeys to give away to local churrches. For more info call 313-832-5646.
