12th Annual Photography Exhibition

The 12th Annual Photography exhibition is taking place at the Ford Community Center on Michigan Ave. in Dearborn.

The show opens on Thursday the 18th and runs until February 17th.

I finally entered some photos this year, crossing my fingers. Regardless, I’m going to the opening. I’d like to hear local photographer Patricio Izzo — resident photog at the River’s Edge Gallery in Wyandotte. I’ve seen her work but never heard her speak.

Ian, thanks for letting us know. I was at this event a couple of years back. Unfortunately I only caught the exhibitors. However, if you are looking for any equipment, books, or photographic services, they had a great spread of exhibitors.

I’m in the market for getting my hands on some now “defunct” film development equip, i.e. enlargers and whatnot.

I embrace the inevitable digital wave but still will not leave the tradition of film behind unless it becomes impossible to buy paper and chemicals. I don’t suspect that will be the case in the greater part of my lifetime.
