Comerica backlash

This Free Press article notes that several area leaders planned to protest Comerica Bank’s announcement to move its headquarters out of Detroit by staging a news conference outside the bank this morning. The article also says that the group of protesters claim that several hundred business customers plan to take their banking business from Comerica to other banks in the area.

Are you a consumer or business customer of Comerica? If so, do you plan on changing banks as a result of yesterday’s announcement?

Thanks for the comment, Max. I believe the move is about Comerica expanding its demographic/customer base into high-growth markets.
