the Deadstring Brothers are so good. i’ve known Kurt and Masha from the band for years. Kurt used to be in a band called Crossed Wire a long time ago which was also a fantastic band. and now that “alt.country” is the new black they’re sure to be huge stars in no time. check them out for sure.
I can’t wait to see the show, especially because a Canadian band is opening up for them.

I must admit that I was only at the show because a friend was playing and that the only reason I was excited about the opening band was because I am Canadian. I am always the first to ignorantly admit that I like all music except country, but I have to say that the Deadstring Brothers’ performance was pretty hot and that this country was thoroughly enjoyable. Max, thanks for the suggestions to support my fellow countrypeople.
