Although you’d normally expect to hear classic Detroit Garage Rock or some kind of traditional rock outfit on any given weekend night at the Lager House in Corktown, this Saturday the bar will be hosting ELEK/TRIK, a night of great electronic music put on monthly and impresario’d by ArithmetiK aka patryk gruse. This ELEK/TRIK features the experimental beats of Split.8 and the Electro-synth pop of Perfect Summer, comprised of sister tag team Miss Natasha and Sassy Frrass Adya. ArithmetiK and LeBodydecker co-host and spin between sets.

Caveat: Don’t freak out if you check the Lager website and see that ELEK/TRIK is unlisted–that’s how chill this night is going to be. It’s surreptitious.

Did you end up catching the show?

Yes, it was a good night. The acts were great. The bar wasn’t too crowded. Dancing ensued. And a breathtakingly dubious ping pong tournament commenced that left some awestruck, others bored.
