I always pack the kids and a few of their friends and meet my sister and girlfriends at our designated spot. We ususally B-B-Q and let the children run around until the festivities begin. Well this year I arrived and too many people have discovered our spot, copied our routine, and even started fighting and got the police all up in our face. I had to find my daughter, relocate, and struggle to see. Man, some people just need to stay home if all they want to do is cause trouble. I've been doin' this for about 13 years straight, visiting the same spot and have never been so disappointed. So I thought by seeing the finale, I'd get at least a bit of satisfaction. But, maybe next year. The finale was rather boring. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy the fireworks like I usually do. The rest of it was about on par but there was a significant lack of "let's fire off everything we got right now!" feeling at the end. I just hope the weather won't be as crappy next year.
