Language Conversation Partner

I just finished reading Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Eat, Pray, Love” and I cannot help but be envious of the author’s travels eating her way through Italy. While she is overseas she finds herself an Italian language conversation partner. For my new year’s resolution I would love to brush up on my rusty French and mediocre German with a partner who would accept either English or Bengali in exchange. There are no hard set rules, but it would be great to practice a language for a couple hours a week with a native speaker hitting up establishments around the city. Let me know if you’re interested.

A friend of mine was telling my today about a program at Wayne that she signed up for, and I remembered your post. She’s just joined the English Language Institute as a conversation partner for a Spanish student. I didn’t talk to her all that long, so I don’t know what she had to do to sign up, but it might be worth checking out?
